The Hoop.Camp International Basketball Camp & Tournament is for athletes with Down Syndrome and additional & special needs. This camp is for ALL AGES, ALLL ABILITIES (ages 5-75+) years of age. You can register as a team or an individual. Those registering as an individual and wanting to participate in the tournament will be assigned to a team. We will be expecting participants from all over the USA and Internationally as well. This is the largest basketball festival of its kind in the world.
Event Information
The Camp: Camp is full of modified fundamentals and drills, exciting games and thrilling contests where all can enjoy success. 2022 will mark the 29th year of our basketball camp for athletes with additional needs. Our participants are divere in ability, skill, size and age. We are inclusive and all are invited. We are much more than just basketball. We foster confidence accountability and promote mental, social, physical and mental helath.
We are unified: Hoop.Camp is “unified” almost 30 years ago Coach Garrity pioneered the concept of unified sports (which is when those with and without special needs particiate together) some unified athletes may be paticipating as well if you would like to be a unified athlete please register.
SWAG: Hoop.Camp has SWAG everyone that registers for camp will get a camp T-shirt, a basketball, a SWAG BAG and lots of individual trophies and prizes for the numerous games and contests.
Coaches and Volunteers: Our coaches and volunteers are experieinced many have been with us since the beginning and have years of playing and coaching experience in HS, college and professionally.
Lodging
The following is a suggested list of lodging options, although additional ones are available. We recommend booking early- August is a busy time of year for local events.
The THPRD athletic center is located at 50 NW Cornell Ct. Beaverton Oregon 97006 any Hotels in the 97006 and or 97229 zip codes will be close to the facility. Hillsboro/Beaverton and NW Portland should all be within 5 miles.

Campers to provide their own lunch on Thursday and Friday.
We will provide pizza lunch to everyone on Saturday.
